Who can sell

Artists and makers who create original handmade work. Every shop and every piece is approved by Community Craft Marketplace before it appears on the site.

What you list

Only work you made yourself, with your own photos and an honest description of what it is, its size and what it is made of. Do not list copies of other people's designs, machine-made or bought-in goods, or anything unsafe or illegal. We may refuse or take down a piece that does not meet this and will tell you why.

Prices and our fee

You set the price customers pay. We keep a commission on each sale and pay you the rest. The commission is shown in your shop, and what you will receive is shown before you save a price. If the commission changes, it applies to new sales; work already given to you keeps the rate it was given at.

Making and sending

When a customer pays (or chooses cash on delivery) the order reaches you in the maker portal with the date it is due. Make the piece as described and hand it to us. We check it against its description, pack it and deliver it. A piece that does not pass the check is sent back for fixing or, if it cannot be fixed, is not paid for.

Getting paid

After a piece passes our check we pay you by UPI or bank transfer and you confirm in the app that it arrived. If something looks wrong, you can report it there.

Your shop name and photo

Your shop name, the area you work in and your shop story are shown publicly. Your photo is shown only if you add one. Your mobile number and address are never shown to customers.

Pausing or leaving

You can pause a piece at any time. You can ask us to close your shop; orders already paid for must still be completed. We may pause a shop that breaks these terms.
